About the Role:
Reports to a site leader of operations.
Lead an agile team of warehouse hourly associates to achieve their production goals and site objective.
Responsibilities Include:
Leads a team of hourly personnel to ensure each shift meets or exceeds the operation's daily and weekly goals Fosters a safety culture through demonstrative leadership Holds self and team accountable on general sanitation and food safety practices Uses system tools and spreadsheets to create labor plans Uses system tools to monitor the health of the operation Motivates the hourly workforce to meet or exceed engineered labor standardsThrough performance observations and feedback engagement meetings Hold daily Shift Start-Up Meetings to share daily goals with the team Post and monitor performance reports Identify high potential employees for cross training opportunitiesMentor their growth and development Ensure shift's time and attendance tools are kept up to date Ensure the employee schedule is up to date About The Pay:
Base Salary Range:
$73,300 - $84,900 Annually Annual Bonus Program Equity 401(k) Profit Sharing Medical, Dental, Vision & More! Final compensation will be determined based upon experience and skills and may vary based on location.
About You:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Associates degree or higher with management or supply chain background preferred.
Certifications/Training:
APICS certification ideal 2 years minimum in production or warehousing required, demonstrating leadership positions over time Strong understanding of production, manufacturing, and/or warehouse operations Excellent analytical skills Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite programs (Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.
) Excellent communication skills Experience with timekeeping, warehousing and distribution back-office systems Ability to lift and move cases ranging from 10 to 90 pounds Preferred:
Experience participating in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, etc.
) Preferred:
Experience in food or grocery distribution Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Analytical Business Process Improvement Communication Food Safety Leadership Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
