Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled individual with expertise in interpreting engineering blueprints to identify and position various components of weldments accurately.
The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of bills of material, recognizing different steel structural member types, such as plates, flat bars, and others.
Individual should also have a keen eye for detail and strong technical skills in reading blueprints, measuring, and welding techniques to contribute to our team and ensure the successful fabrication of complex weldments.
Job requirements:
Proficiently read and comprehend engineering blueprints to identify individual pieces of a weldment and ensure correct positioning of each component.
Knowledgeable in decoding bills of material to comprehend the specifications of plate, flat bar, and various steel structural member types.
Competent in using both standard and metric tape measures to ensure precise measurements.
Capable of squaring large weldments, including conveyor frames, structural supports, and other complex structures.
Experienced in utilizing different fixturing techniques to securely hold pieces in place while welding.
