Shifts: 12AM-8AM & 4PM-12AM

7 week schedule (includes weekends)

&

Monday - Friday schedule

Day-to-Day Role:

  • Inspect, pack and stack finished products in accordance with company standard operating procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspection of finished products; verify package counts; inspect sanitary condition of product; ensure integrity of film seal; oversee that product is automatically packed or manually pack the product. Tape boxes and manually transfer product to stacking area.
  • Prepare cases as necessary by assembling flat cardboard into box shape.
  • Perform quality checks at scheduled intervals and recording information on Quality Check list according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Communicate quality concerns to operator, quality control, mechanic or supervisor.
  • Start and shut down machinery according to standard operating procedures.
  • Address minor bagger or caser problems.
  • Comply with good manufacturing practices (GMP) as required.
  • Comply with Dart Container's policies and procedures.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

  • Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to meeting safety standards.
  • Ability to work weekends as needed.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

  • Six (6) months experience with safe operation of production equipment.
  • Six (6) months experience inspecting, packaging and stacking.
  • Six (6) months experience performing quality checks.

    Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
